How the pages are made
Public sources, dated pages, no invented authority.

The subject is the road
Guides cover the Bulgarian road network for cars, motorcycles and freight: where motorways run, how charges are structured, what the speed table says, how winter rules are dated, and what kind of control a border currently uses. We do not drift into hotel reviews, insurance sales or “best of” lists.

Sources we prefer
The Road Traffic Act and the public summaries of it. Notices from the National Toll Administration on bgtoll.bg. Announcements and network descriptions from the Road Infrastructure Agency. Government decisions reported by established news desks when they concern an opening date or a roadmap. A forum thread is not a source for a fine or a fee.

What a date means
Each guide shows a publication date and a revision date. The revision date means the text was read again against those sources. It does not mean a member of the desk drove the corridor that week. Photographs carry their own year when the year matters, as with the 2009 Struma and Sofia ring pictures and the 2020 Europe motorway picture.

No fictional people
Pages are published by tolbg, the organisation named in the footer. We do not invent authors, interviewees, testimonials, star ratings, certificates or awards. If a minister is quoted, the quote is attributed to a public report and treated as that person’s statement, not as a fact that the road will open on the day they named.

Advertising and independence
The pages do not sell road products. If advertising tags are added later, they will be expected to follow the consent choice described in the cookie policy. A commercial message will be distinguishable from a guide. We do not dress a payment page up as an article, and we do not redirect readers to another domain in place of the page they opened.

Corrections
Write to [email protected] with the page address, the sentence, and the public source you are using. If the sentence is wrong, we change it and the revision date. We do not promise to adopt a reader’s wording, and we do not pay for tips.
Language is English, aimed at a driver who does not read Bulgarian legal text every day. Bulgarian names of roads and places are given in the form used on signs, with a transliteration.
Uncertainty stays in the sentence. “Reported in service” is not the same as “open this morning”. “Published price” is not the same as “the price you will be charged next year”.
The disclaimer is the legal limit of that caution. The about page is the address of the desk.
